Josefina Ramos Gonzales holds a PhD in Education from the University of Buenos Aires. She holds a Master's Degree in Critical Pedagogies and Socio-educational Educational Issues, a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Sciences and a Diploma in Curatorship and Exhibition of Documentary Photography from the same university.
Her lines of research focus on the recent history of Initial Teacher Training from the analysis of educational reforms and the genealogies of struggle and resistance of the sector between the last dictatorship and the democratic transition with expertise in documentary research and recovery of personal archives.
She is currently developing her Postdoctorate in Human and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET), Argentina 2024-2027 and directed by Dr. Judith Naidorf based at the Institute for Research in Educational Sciences and by Dr. Hernán Camarero based at the Institute of Argentine and American History “Dr. Emilio Ravignani”. She teaches “Socio-historical-cultural research in education/methodology applied to historical-educational research” (Department of Education, UBA.
